Hole #15 - Horsehead Crossing

This highly strategic short par 4 presents many different options for the golfer. The fairway splits around a native mesquite sand dune that is on the left center of the golf hole. If one would want to reach the 343 yard green in one shot or want the better angle approach shot, they would want to favor the left side which is a direct shot to the green but has a narrower width of fairway. The safe play is to play to the right side of the native dune to a wider fairway. Playing to the right is safer but a more difficult second shot to a green that has a bunker in the front right and sits in a setting that gets a close sense of the Franklin Mountains.
