  Hole #18 - Cottonwoods

The finishing hole at Butterfield Trail is a stunning 566 yard par 5 that has a downhill tee shot into the prevailing wind to a landing area with stacked bunkers on the right side. The second shot on #18 offers a variety of alternatives for the golfer. If the player gets in the right position off the tee, they may gamble and try to hit over the lake onto the green that sits on a peninsula surrounded by water. The safe play is to avoid the water by playing to the left side of the fairway. The unfortunate side to that is you will have a longer and more difficult third shot into the green. This is a classic risk verses reward golf hole and will create lots of excitement for everyone as they end their round.
