  Hole #6 - Hueco Tanks

The 600 yard par 5 6th hole plays to the south and has a downhill tee shot. The landing area has a rather large waste bunker on the right side and a smaller sized bunker on the left center of the fairway. The ideal tee shot is to hit at the right side fairway bunker with a slight right to left ball flight which will split the two bunkers. This golf hole will not be reached by many because of its length and the complexity of the green surface. This perched up green has some unexpected contours and is protected by a small bunker guarding the back right pin position. Although golfers may have trouble keeping the approach shot on this tricky green there is plenty of play space around it to help the player have a chance to get up and down to save par.
